Stefanie Varga Ph.D., LP
Dr. Stefanie Varga is the founder and owner of Treehouse Psychology, PLLC. Her vision for Treehouse in 2011 was to build a clinic of multi-disciplinary providers dedicated to the mental health and wellness of children, adolescents, and their families.
Dr. Varga is a licensed clinical psychologist within the state of Minnesota specializing in neuropsychological and psychological assessment of children, adolescents and adults. She has been working with children and families providing education, clinical consultation, assessment, and therapeutic services for the past twenty years. Dr. Varga has worked in a range of settings across the United States and Canada, including correctional, medical, hospital, community mental health, schools, and inpatient and outpatient settings. Dr. Varga has expertise in pediatric and medical psychology, developmental issues, and neurological injury and illness. She has specialized training in the assessment and treatment of individuals with fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD), prenatal exposure, genetic and medical conditions, head injury, and trauma. Dr. Varga is a county-appointed evaluator in Minnesota providing court-ordered forensic evaluations. Dr. Varga provides in-house clinical training and supervision at Treehouse. She also provides neuropsychological and psychological assessment for a select number of complex and critical cases.
Dr. Varga received her M.A. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Fielding Graduate University. She completed her M.Ed. at McGill University in Montreal, Canada. Dr. Varga completed her predoctoral clinical training at the Veteran's Administration in Boston, MA, Harvard Medical School/McLean Hospital, and Primary Children's Medical Center in SLC, Utah. She completed her postdoctoral clinical psychology fellowship at Canvas Health (formerly HSI) in Oakdale, Minnesota.
Dr. Varga is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and International Association for Correctional and Forensic Psychology (IACFP). She is also a member of the Society of Pediatric Psychology.
Rebecca Jorgensen, Psy.D., LP
Dr. Rebecca Jorgensen is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Minnesota. She received her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Twin Cities in 2015. In 2010, she graduated from Hamline University in St. Paul, receiving her BA in psychology. Dr. Jorgensen completed her predoctoral internship at Drexel University Counseling Center in Philadelphia. Dr. Jorgensen worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Hope Springs Behavioral Health in Philadelphia and completed her postdoctoral hours at Treehouse Psychology, PLLC.
Dr. Jorgensen has worked in a range of settings, including correctional, private practice, and college counseling. She has specialized training in forensic evaluations, psychological assessments, and individual therapy. Her special interests include treating adolescents and adults with depression, anxiety, and trauma, as well as those with sexual disorders. Dr. Jorgensen is passionate about helping individuals and their families better understand their life circumstances and inspiring individuals to experience meaningful change.
Dr. Jorgensen lives in Minneapolis with her partner and puppy. She enjoys hiking, traveling, reading, and trying new restaurants with her family.
